High End Munich 2013

EgglestonWorks’ Jim Thompson and John Callery

The High End  Show 2013, in Munich Germany was a great success for the team from EgglestonWorks.  The growing importance of this show in the world of high end audio is hard to dispute, evidenced by the huge crowds of both attendees and exhibitors.

This year marked the second show for EgglestonWorks in Munich, and based on the results of this show, we anticipate many more exhibitions at High End.

EgglestonWorks was proud to share a room with Avid HiFi Ltd.  from the UK.  Avid is a well-known producer of turntables, phono stages, cabling, racks, and a soon-to-be-released line of electronics that attendees in Munich got a preview in the form of their new pre-amplifier.

EgglestonWorks showed two systems in the room, including the main system featuring the Savoy Signature.

The second system in the room consisted of the all new Nine Signature speakers in a stunning pearl white finish.

Both systems had people bobbing their heads and tapping their feet, but most importantly it had them coming back several times.  At a show this big, when attendees find their way back to your room on purpose, it means you are doing something right.

We would like to thank several of our current distributors for coming by the room including:

Igor Popov – Qvinta , Russia
Cecil and Desmond – Audio Note, Singapore
Vaclav Skarda – Hi Fi Store, Czech Republic
Pierre Grossmann – Portier Hi Fi, Switzerland
David San Emeterio – Sound Arts Network, France
Ibrahim Genis – Audio Gen, Turkey
Tomasz Sroka – Chillout Studio, Poland

Finally we would like to thank the Avid team – Conrad, Philip and Claus – for their hard work and for making the show an enjoyable experience.  Look for another big presence next year from all of us.
