High End 2012 – Munich, Germany

Munich, Germany – May 3 – 6, 2012

EgglestonWorks traveled to Europe this May to participate in the High End 2012 show in Munich. The Munich show is quickly becoming the most important audio show worldwide mainly due to its focus solely on high performance audio. Unlike CES in Las Vegas where electronics in general is the focus and High Performance gear is a sequestered category, High End Munich is strictly about just what its name says: the High End.

This was the first year for EgglestonWorks to make this trip and so there was little knowledge about what to expect. For us, the show was great. Our demo cabin was small but we made some great sound with the new Isabel Signature and Rogue audio equipment and JPS Labs cabling.

We were surprised to see so many of our current distributors at the show. Among those we saw at the show was Igor Popov of Qvinta – Russia; David San Emeterio of Sound Arts – France; Cecil Tan of Audio Note – Singapore; and Jacky Wang and Tony Wu of Shanghai Bragi – China.

This was a great show for us, and we have already committed to do it again in 2013. Stay tuned for our plans.
