EgglestonWorks announces Savoy Signature to be unveiled at CES 2010 in Las Vegas
Memphis, TN, USA – December 23, 2009 – EgglestonWorks announces today its plans for the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, January 7 – 10 in Las Vegas, NV. The company will unveil a bold new version of the highly acclaimed Savoy loudspeaker dubbed the Savoy Signature ($52,000.00USD) during the annual showcase of the latest and greatest in High Performance Audio at the Venetian Hotel in Suite 30-210.
The Savoy loudspeaker bridged the gap between the company’s flagship – the Ivy Reference – and the Andra III. “We see the new Savoy Signature as borrowing more from the Ivy than the Standard Savoy in terms of the crossover design and overall voicing”, says EW president Jim Thompson. “We’ve employed several of our trademark crossover designs in this model and feel it is now closer to the Ivy in performance than ever before.”
Visually, the Savoy Signature looks much like the new Andra III which debuted last year at CES 2009. The Savoy Signature will feature aluminum side plates, aluminum baffle plates, new carbon fiber midrange drivers and the highest quality automotive-grade paint. The aesthetic statement the speaker makes is understated elegance, while also something that will demand a second look.
Company President and designer Thompson describing the Savoy Signature says, “Redesigning a product like the Savoy is a demanding process in which any changes and improvements are very carefully chosen after years of testing and listening to the speaker as well as our customers.” The company will have a new website launched in time for CES and will have complete information on the newest products on the site.
As usual if a private audition is desired, the company asks that you contact them via email at ewaudio@bellsouth.net.
